April 17th, 2019: KM 572.4 - 590.2

(Sydenham 14.5 - 32.3)

Day 2 started off with a bike ride to cover the distance between the start and the end of our hike.
Sydenham does not have any trail angels, so you are left to yourself to figure out how to bridge that gap. It’s remote enough that you would be taking a chance waiting for a cab.
The bike ride was 9km up and down hills. We opted to do that before we hiked 18km.
The hike itself was moderate. 4km of road to start, with another 4km stretch of road towards the later half.
The temps were warm, or at least it felt that way with all the hills you work though.
We quickly shed layers and were in shorts and T-shirt.
Another great day on the trails.
