October 20th, 2012: KM 266.7 - 282.6

(Caledon 13.8 km - 29.7 km)

After stuffing ourselves full of sausages and bacon at Aidan's 1st birthday party, Graham, Chris, and Fiona departed on an epic hike.

After finishing dropping off the cars, it was just after 3pm when we started our hike. Rain was in the forecast, and the sky was pretty cloudy.

We started near Cataract, at The Forks of the Credit.

Eventually the hike came out of the park and started on the roads

Then back in to the forest where we found this weird bridge, which had a sign to let us know who build it.

Chris (eagle-eyes) Smith also spotted a porcupine sleeping way above the forest floor

The trail passes a big cow farm before going through a Tunnel under Hurontario right by the Magnetic Hill.

The final part of the trail mostly followed Escarpment Sideroad, with some detours through fields and farms.

We met this friend on one of the farms near the end of the hike.

Spotted a car in the middle of the forest. No idea how this could have gotten here

Around 6 it started getting dark.

Great hike overall! Still 2 more to do to catch up to Anthony and Jamie!
